Club House and Spa:
Dongguan Club House
Situated within Dongguan Forest Park and embraced by the region’s rolling hills and natural landscapes, Mission Hills’ Dongguan Clubhouse covers an area of 65,000 square meters, making it the world largest clubhouse.
A majestic backdrop to the 18th hole of Mission Hills’ world-renowned Olazabal course – home of the Omega Mission Hills World Cup - the Dongguan Clubhouse features Asia’s largest spa facility, a golf pro shop with a global collection of premium goods, as well as a variety of lounges and restaurants serving western and eastern cuisine. The Mission Hills Kids Gallery - a children's activity centre and day care - is also located here.
In addition, the complex houses an exhibition centre with a variety of function rooms, conference halls, media facilities and an auditorium, making it a popular venue for everything from international golf tournaments and summits, to large-scale exhibitions and cultural performances.
The Mission Hills Dongguan complex accommodates 5 of Mission Hills’ 12 courses, including those by Annika Sorenstam, Greg Norman, Jose Maria Olazabal, David Duval and David Leadbetter. It also offers a driving range and a putting green for members and their guests. The Dongguan facility is home to the Mission Hills Academy by Cindy Reid.

Annika Sorenstam's first design credit features spectacular views of the natural terrain and mountains which rise more than 300 meters above the golf course. The dramatic elevations change throughout the course provide numerous panoramic tee shots perched high above spacious fairways that cut through valleys. Well-manicured landscaping dominates the perimeters of both tee and green, creating an aesthetically appealing "botanical" type atmosphere.
World Cup Course
Named in honor of the 41st World Cup of Golf which it hosted in 1995, this critically acclaimed course was designed by 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus. Completed in 1994, it's the first course in China to be accredited by the US PGA for major professional competitions, and many of the world's greatest players - including Tiger Woods and Greg Norman - have played on it. Winner of multiple international awards and heralded by the authoritative US golf publication LINKS as "one of the ten most significant and influential courses of the last 20 years", Mission Hills' World Cup course is widely hailed as one of Asia's best golfing experiences.
Jose Maria Olazabal's inaugural signature course is one of the club's strongest tests. It plays to more than 7,300 yards for the Omega Mission Hills World Cup, and boasts 151 bunkers (including 24 on No. 15 alone) - reflective of Olazabal's reputation as a master with the sand wedge. Numerous majestic vistas of untouched jungle and natural flowing streams create outstanding backdrops throughout the golf course. The numerous, deep bunkers, along with its undulating fairways are two distinguishing features of this true championship course. The Olazabal Course hosted the 2007, 2008 & 2009 Omega Mission Hills World Cup, often referred to as the "Olympics of Golf."
The Faldo Course at Mission Hills is China's first "stadium course" and features the region's only island green at the par-3 16th. Measuring nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees, it's highlighted by mounding and earthen amphitheatres to improve the spectator experience. The 16th hole and drivable par-4 15th are two of Asia's most exciting holes and have played significant roles in many tournament outcomes. It is home to the annual Grand Final for the premier junior golf circuit on the continent, the Faldo Series Asia.
Greg Norman built a reputation designing challenging golf courses wrought in the traditional stylings of his native Australian Sand Belt. His 7,228-yard offering at Mission Hills follows suit, as narrow fairways surrounded by long, native grasses and dense forest vegetation contribute to the layout's reputation as one of the most difficult courses in Asia. The front nine meanders through dramatic mountain ridges and hillsides, while the back nine lays gingerly in one of the property's many lush valleys.
